Housing Justice is looking for a Fundraising Development Coordinator

Housing Justice is a national housing and homelessness charity encouraging and co-ordinating church and community action on homelessness. We believe that everyone deserves a home that truly meets their needs.

Our current projects include a national network for church and community night shelters for the homeless, the Housing Justice Quality Mark award for night shelters, the Housing Justice Hosting project for destitute migrants and the Faith in Affordable Housing project, encouraging faith groups to develop affordable housing.

The organisation is undergoing an exciting period of change with a new senior leadership team and several exciting projects in development. Crucial to these plans is a proactive and values driven fundraiser.

As our Fundraising Development Co-ordinator you’ll be able to combine your passion for social justice with a motivation to work to targets. You’ll have an established track record and the creativity required to make successful bids to trusts and grant making organisations as well as running events, reviewing the Housing Justice membership and liaising with major donors. We are ideally looking for an experienced fundraiser but the most important thing is to appoint someone with drive and the ability to make things happen. We will therefore consider candidates without fundraising experience but with transferable skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation intent not just on growth but on making a difference.

The successful candidate will be at the heart of implementing our organisational strategy, working with the CEO to deliver our overall objectives.
