News and events Grant fund now open Last winter we awarded more than £220,000 in grants and worked with more than 20 night shelter projects to create 169 additional winter night shelter beds and support projects to help more than 300 guests from rough sleeping to more settled accommodation. In addition our team held dozens of events, trained volunteers and provided a range of support to projects across the capital. There is still much more to do. So that you can plan to do more this winter, we are opening our grants fund for the coming season so that you can apply over the summer months. The grant process is simpler than ever before and takes around half an hour to complete. Your project can apply for up to £20,000 of funding to increase your impact on the lives of people experiencing homelessness. We are particularly looking to support projects to increase the number of guests you are able to move on to into more settled accommodation. We are looking to support additional caseworkers, translators, addiction services, employment and training, hosting projects, rent deposits, HMO/move on houses, partnerships with other night shelter projects or local services. We are open to supporting new ideas and innovation if you can demonstrate need and the difference the funding would make. Where there is a demonstrable need for an increase in bed spaces, we will also support new projects or projects wishing to expand. The first tranche of decisions will be made in July with payment by September. Thank you in advance for your application. Feel free to contact us at any time to discuss an application or idea.
