News and events Hot topics Housing Justice Internship Vacancy Role Title: Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Volunteer Intern Responsible to: Fundraising Development Co-ordinator Responsible for: Securing funding from charitable trusts and foundations and to assist in managing donor relationships Salary: Three-month voluntary placement – Travel (up to 15 miles) and lunch expenses (up to £5) paid Days/Hours: 2 days/week (flexible working hours available). Through this internship we will ensure that you gain hands-on experience in working for a national UK charity. You will work alongside our fundraising development co-ordinator, gaining increased knowledge of the homeless sector and greater understanding of fundraising and grant management. As part of this process, you will receive a thorough induction and supervision. In addition, you will develop an insight into the charity sector, experience how a UK charity operates, develop knowledge and fundraising skills, gain practical experience and make a difference within the organisation.
