Chris had worked in the commercial world before making a career change, when he first became involved in homelessness, volunteering at a charity in his hometown of Leicester. He has worked on front line services with the Simon Community in Camden, and as a member of the management team at Emmaus Medway in Kent.

The Policy Intern role is a newly created position that focuses on providing support to the wider work of Housing Justice by analysing policy documents, statistical data and academic reports as they are released. Chris will also be working on a Faith in Planning guide to help churches and other faith groups navigate the planning system – due for release in spring 2017.

Outside of Housing Justice Chris is a Leicester City fan and will bore anyone who is unlucky enough to be near him with tales of the 2016 title winning season. He also enjoys running, writing and attending live sport and music events.
