KIP Homeless Project
Salvation Army, Oakengates The launch of Kip a homeless project for Adult Homeless took place at the Salvation Army Oakengates this week as part the National Churches Homelessness awareness campaign “Building Justice –Yes we can”
The photo shows from the Left:- Alan Olver (Salvation Army), Neil Finch Head of Housing (Stay – Telford Christian Council Support Housing) Val Mann (Wellington YMCA) Tracy Potter (The Wrekin Housing Trust) Bethany (Salvation Army Youth Group) Nick (Salvation Army Youth Group) Major Malcolm Hampton (Salvation Army Officer) Whilst the days services at the Salvation Army picked up the theme of Homelessness, the evening service was dedicated to the launch of Kip. Alan Olver spoke to those present who represented various organisations, faiths and the regular congregation about the new Adult Homelessness project and presented the Salvation Army a Cheque for £1,000 to set the project off in its bid ton raise an initial £30,000. |
