Stop Homelessness
The Homelessness Sunday Partnership

Homelessness Sunday is organised by the Homelessness Sunday Partnership, consisting of Housing Justice and Scottish Churches Housing Action

Housing Justice is the national voice of Christian action in the field of housing and homelessness. Formed in 2003 from a merger of CHAS (Catholic Housing Aid Society) and CNHC (Churches National Housing Coalition), Housing Justice is active across England and Wales. In addition to Homelessness Sunday, activities include campaigning, housing advice, cash-free help for people on the street, resident-led regeneration and ethical housing investment – all working towards a society where everyone has access to a home which truly meets their needs.

Scottish Churches Housing Action brings together 13 major Christian denominations in Scotland, working under the slogan No room for homelessness! It has a supporters list of around 2,000. It works at a local level, supporting the development of groups of church people who help homeless people in their own locality. It links this with national work to identify and remove the causes of homelessness. A quarterly newsletter, Our Homeless Neighbour, is available free by post or on the SCHA website.
