Housing Justice Regenerate is a community led regeneration service.

Regeneration is a daunting challenge. However, Regenerate can provide advice and support along the way and put you in touch with many groups who have successfully regenerated their communities.

The Regenerate team and handbook has assisted many residents and agencies in launching and implementing regeneration/renewal projects. It is a service designed and delivered by residents for residents, with back up from professionals and volunteers.

Site visits

See first hand how other communities have succeeded and hear about the things that worked (and those that didn’t) for them. Resident leaders from the Regenerate team are willing to show other resident groups and professionals their projects and talk to them about their experiences.

Each visit lasts approximately three hours with a tour of the site, description of the services and activities and plenty of time for questions.

See our contact list of host estates if you are interested in arranging a visit.

“These visits inspire you with great ideas to apply back home”

“It’s fun and a great day out”

Professional support

We hold a shortlist of supportive and very experienced professionals, some of whom have agreed to provide initial advice for free. These professionals include community lawyers; community architects; funding and housing management consultants; drug and alcohol abuse prevention advisors; family project coordinators; faith leaders etc. They are solely responsible for their own advice.

Co-ordination

At all times we will try to work with, and support Local Authorities and all the statutory agencies to work as a team, and are available on a consultancy basis to Local Authorities and the statutory agencies.

You are free to pick and choose all or part of the service according to the needs of your project.
